We are seeking a professional and knowledgeable Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our solo practice cardiology clinic on a part-time or full-time basis. The technologist will be responsible for preparing, administering, and measuring radioactive isotopes in diagnostic and tracer studies. Experience in cardiology is preferred. This role involves working independently within a small team setting and does not require travel.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain IV access and administer nuclear products
  • Perform nuclear stress testing and cardiac viability studies
  • Conduct calibration and quality control procedures
  • Produce accurate flood images on cameras and diagnostic images for interpretation
  • Maintain all isotope records and properly dispose of radioactive waste
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
  • Engage effectively with patients during procedures
  • Follow standard concepts, practices, and procedures in nuclear medicine

Required Qualifications

  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (e.g., NMTCB)
  • State licensure for nuclear medicine technology
