Elementary Educator

Trinity Academy is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and faith-driven 2nd Grade Elementary Educator to join our school family. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding young learners through a crucial year of academic and spiritual development. The ideal candidate will seamlessly integrate a biblical worldview into daily instruction while fostering a nurturing, safe, and engaging classroom environment where children can thrive academically and spiritually.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and assess engaging 2nd-grade lesson plans in subjects including Reading, Phonics, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Bible study.
• Cultivate a Christ-centered classroom culture that encourages kindness, respect, and spiritual growth among students.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic and emotional needs of early elementary learners.
• Maintain open, consistent, and positive communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
• Participate actively in school chapels, staff devotions, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
• Uphold and model the school's Christian values and statement of faith in both professional and personal conduct.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a closely related field.
• Valid teaching certificate (State certification or ACSI certification preferred).
• A strong, personal Christian faith and active involvement in a local church.
• Prior experience teaching or student-teaching early elementary students (2nd-grade experience is a plus).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
