Painter/ Coater

Riley Industrial Services has immediate full-time permanent positions available for journeyman painters. You'll be required to sandblast & coat steel structures, pipe, I-beams, tanks, etc.

• Must have a valid driver's license (no interlocks, state ID's, etc.)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana)
• Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in painting and coating within industrial or commercial settings.
  • Basic knowledge of surface preparation techniques and coating application.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications.

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in industrial painting or sandblasting techniques.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations related to coatings and abrasive blasting.
  • Experience with various coating systems including epoxy, polyurethane, and zinc-rich primers.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with maintenance of sandblasting and painting equipment.
