Licensed Massage Therapist

Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to work out of our successful, established practice . As a Massage Therapist, you tailor massage treatments to your patient's individual needs and health goals. A good fit would be knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, and work well as part of a holistic wellness team.. We can help book your appointments or you can make them yourself with your clientele. The therapist working out of our office currently works M,T,Th, afternoons, and Wednesday morning/early afternoon. Her schedule has been filling up regularly, and she's not needing to take on more massage hours. Pay negotiable based on your rates. For the purpose of this listing fees listed at our current averages paid to massage therapist based on the differing rates for massages. You keep all of your tips. There is demand for more MT service hours on site by patients when they come in for their adjustments/acupuncture sessions. Current room availability is 7am-noon, M,T,Th, W afternoons, F 8am-3pm, and first four Saturdays of the month from 9am-1pm. You communicate to us what you want your weekly hours/schedule to look like during that availability. Let's talk!

Preferred person would

• Perform a variety of massage and body treatments
• Educate clients on the services and products offered as well as the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy
• Maintain accurate records of each session
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule their clients appointments when need be
• Follow up with clients your haven't seen in a while
• Build relationships with clients to assist them with meeting their wellness goals
• Ensure a clean and safe facility respecting the room/ the next therapist to occupy the space
• Complying with all applicable standards, rules, licensures, and regulations.
• Communicate with our office your available hours to be scheduled, and update us as needed
• Provide the supplies/tool needed to complete your services and maintain a professional & hygienic workspace and treatment environment

Qualifications

• Hold current state license and liability insurance to practice massage therapy
• Looking for someone skilled in performing deep tissue, Swedish, and maternity massage modalities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strongly service oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting
• High level of ethics and integrity.
• A passion for helping people look and feel their best.
