Identity Access Analyst

Contract, Access Identity Analyst position located in Buffalo, NY. Onsite Monday-Thursday, remote on Fridays with an hourly pay rate of $37/hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provision more difficult approved myAccess system requests, while adhering to department confidentiality as it applies to user provisioning and/or related projects.
Assist in application re-certifications.
Ensure completion of system access requests within required service level agreements, following procedures and processes to completion so requested system access is accurately provisioned.
Work with Role Engineering or other systems to complete research and trouble-shoot issues.
Troubleshooting user access-related issues to ensure end users are able to access required applications to complete their job functions.
Analyze identity and access management issues or problems and make necessary recommendation to management for resolution.
May assist and provide guidance to less experienced personnel.
Adhere to all SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) key controls.
Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Combined minimum of 3 years higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 1 years identity and access management experience.
Very strong analytical skills.
Very strong problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented.
Wide knowledge of software and its uses, interactions with various hardware systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiar with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) key controls.
