Simply Smiles Dental LLC is looking for passionate and skilled Part-Time Dental Hygienists to join our friendly team in West Valley City, UT! Responsibilities:
- Perform routine dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing for patients of all ages
- Conduct thorough oral health assessments, including periodontal charting and screenings
- Take and review dental X-rays in compliance with safety and procedural standards
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, home care, and preventive practices
- Document patient records accurately and update medical/dental histories
- Collaborate with the dentist to develop and communicate individualized patient treatment plans
- Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols in accordance with OSHA guidelines
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Utah
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis and periodontal therapy
- Familiarity with dental practice management software preferred
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and team-focused attitude
- Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule
