Licensed Mental Health Therapist/Counselor

We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist or Licensed Counselor to join our team! This is an opportunity to work as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, providing services to a broad spectrum of clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
• Provide diagnostic assessments, therapy, and counseling and support services for a mixed caseload including adults, adolescents, and families experiencing mental health issues, communication challenges, or family conflict.
• Evaluate clients' mental condition based on review of client information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff members to perform clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Offer assistance to individuals with substance abuse issues
• Provide prevention-oriented therapy
• Implement and review treatment plans
• Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies
• Ensure all documentation and billing is completed in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Psychology. Independent licensure as a LMFT, LICSW, LCSW-C, LPCC, LCPAT and the ability to supervise.
• Must be able to bill Medicare as a rendering provider
• Prefer previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
• Familiarity with community mental health resources
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to easily build rapport with clients
• Strong leadership qualities
