Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team! As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will screen patients, perform dental cleanings, and assist the dentists with exams and procedures. The ideal candidate is state-licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and patient education.
- Conduct oral health assessments and accurately document findings. Collaborate with the dentist during hygiene examinations and assist with treatment planning. Take high-quality digital radiographs and assist with intraoral and extraoral digital photography. Maintain accurate patient records and update oral hygiene and periodontal charting. Prepare, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms in accordance with OSHA and infection control standards. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Ensure a comfortable, positive patient experience while promoting overall oral health.
Qualifications
- Current California Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
- Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records preferred.
- Experience with Eaglesoft dental software (preferred but not required)
