Responsibilities for Host Hostess
• Answer the phone and input customer reservations accurately into the computer
• Make daily calls to customers to confirm their upcoming reservations
• Greet all customers as they enter the restaurant
• Seat customers according to the established plan that ensures all waitstaff gets filled tables
• Keep front desk and waiting area clean
• Ensure takeout menus, special events information and cards remain stocked

Qualifications for Host Hostess
• 2 years of restaurant experience fine dining in similar restaurant
• Able to answer a multi-line office telephone
• Keen attention to detail in order to track guest reservations
• Excellent customer service skills
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Experience with electronic reservation system
• Follow appropriate food safety guidelines
• Able to work a variety of shifts, holidays, weekends
• Able to stand for long periods of time
