Busy law firm located in West Houston/Energy Corridor (I-10/Dairy Ashford) is looking for a hardworking, self-starter, with a great work ethic, and great people skills.

About the position:

The position involves assisting the attorneys and fellow legal assistants with: (1) estate and trust planning; (2) probate and trust administration/litigation; (3) elder law and guardianship; and (4) real estate deeds and filings. Case and client management and calendaring of judicial matters is an integral part of the position. This is a full-time in-office position and not a remote-working position, with competitive compensation, including, but not limited to, additional incentive metric-based compensation, plus limited health care benefits.

Requirements:

College credits (Degree not required).

  • Accounting or bookkeeping background is a plus, but not required.
  • Financial services background is a plus, but not required.
  • Type 60 words per minute.
  • Great work ethic.
  • Self-starter.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Team player.
  • Nonsmoker.
  • Believe in quality and completeness in your work.
