Looking to fill client hours from 1pm to 5pm Monday through Friday. Spanish Speaker Preferred.

Overview
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children or adolescents with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or qualified supervisor, the BT implements individualized treatment plans to promote skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and independence in daily living. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in behavioral health, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and special education while working in a supportive, engaging environment.

Duties

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, clinic, and community settings.
  • Deliver direct client care in both 1:1 and group settings, using ABA principles such as, shaping procedures, reinforcement schedules, and positive behavior interventions
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies developed by the BCBA or Clinical Supervisor.
  • Follow prescribed behavioral plans and clinical protocols consistently.
  • Support clients in developing communication, social, play, self-help, and adaptive living skills.
  • Assist in behavior reduction using evidence-based ABA strategies.
  • Collect, record accurate daily data, and complete clinical notes on client progress using Ensora Catalyst or other designated systems.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers, providing parent training as directed.
  • Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, and ongoing training sessions.
  • Complete all required trainings assigned by supervisors.
  • Accept constructive feedback and apply it to improve skills and performance.
  • Demonstrate effective time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Maintain professional and ethical relationships with clients, families, coworkers, and community members.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Follow the BACB Code of Ethics and all company policies.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development in clinical skills, ethics, and technology.

Experience

  • High school diploma required; college coursework or degree in Psychology, Education, Child Development, or related field preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children, individuals with autism, or special needs strongly preferred.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • Reliable transportation to client locations.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
