Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Youth Care Worker to join our team. The Youth Care Worker provides daily supervision, guidance, and support to youth residents while helping maintain a safe and positive living environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care, supervision, and mentorship to youth residents

  • Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment

  • Assist youth with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, school, and activities

  • Support development of life skills and positive behavior

  • Document daily activities, incidents, and shift progress notes

  • Communicate effectively with team members, families, and service providers

  • Respond appropriately to crisis situations using approved intervention techniques

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Experience working with youth in residential, educational, or community settings preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks

  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Schedule
  • Evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required

  • Flexible scheduling based on program needs
