Job Title: Flexologist (Stretch Therapist)

Position Summary
StretchLab Union Square NYC is seeking service-oriented individuals with a background in fitness or wellness to join us as Flexologists. This is a hands-on role that requires technical excellence in assisted stretching as well as a commitment to maintaining a premium, clinical-grade environment for our members.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Technical Excellence
Deliver high-quality, one-on-one assisted stretching sessions using StretchLab’s proprietary PNF and dynamic stretching techniques.
Conduct flexibility assessments and create personalized "Stretch Plans" for members.
Educate clients on the benefits of regular stretching and provide "homework" to enhance results.
Sales Support & Membership Conversion
Membership Conversion: Work closely with the sales team by providing professional recommendations to clients. You will play a key role in converting introductory "intro" sessions into long-term memberships.
Document client progress and session notes accurately to ensure high retention.
Studio Cleanliness & Maintenance (Required Duties)
Laundry Management: Flexologists are responsible for the daily cycle of studio laundry. This includes washing, drying, and folding towels and linens to ensure a constant supply of fresh supplies for sessions.
Studio Sanitization: Conduct "Studio Resets" between sessions, which includes wiping down benches, cleaning equipment, and ensuring the stretching area is sanitized and "stage-ready."
General Upkeep: Participate in daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, glass cleaning, and trash removal to maintain our premium studio standards.
Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio literature are stocked and visible.
Qualifications
Background: Required degree or national certification in Personal Training, Massage Therapy, Athletic Training, PT Assistant, Yoga, or Pilates.
Mindset: A "team-first" attitude with a willingness to participate in all studio duties, including cleaning and laundry.
Communication: Ability to explain physical concepts clearly and build trust with clients.
Schedule: Ability to work a consistent schedule, including at least one weekend day.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Pay: $17.00 per hour if you are stretching or not
"Stretch Bonus": Earn up to an additional $10 per session hour completed.
Membership Conversion Bonus: Earn a cash bonus for every client you successfully convert into a member following their introductory session.
Accredited Training: We provide and pay for your accreditation through our proprietary Flexologist Training Program (FTP).
