Mental Health Therapist; Psychotherapist

Ark of Rehabilitation. Is currently seeking a Psychotherapist to join our team! This position will be served as 95% on-site. The idea candidate will provide recovery-oriented rehabilitation services in group or individual settings.

Responsibilities:

• Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
• Offer assistance to individuals with substance abuse issues
• Provide prevention-oriented therapy
• Create, Implement and review treatment plans
• Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies
• Ensure all documentation is completed promptly
• Provide mental health therapy for adults, teens, and children.
• Therapists will be able to provide evidence-based psychotherapy and person-centered therapy to individuals, such as Adolescents, youths, couples, and Families with various Mental health-related issues.
• Able to lead group sessions and provide a supervisor when necessary
• Develop and implement service plans
• Provide telehealth therapy if required within 5% capacity
• Some travel may be required

Qualifications:

• Must be Licensed in the state of MD to provide mental health services as an LMSW, LCPC, LCSW, or preferably LCSW-C
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance clients.
• Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
• Familiarity with community mental health resources
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong leadership qualities
• Ability to write proper documentation

• $80-$85 per session
