Responsibilities
- Conduct thoughtful consultations and assessments to build personalized treatment plans
- Perform a variety of massage and bodywork techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, therapeutic stretching, cupping, and scraping
- Educate clients on treatment recommendations and the benefits of consistent care
- Keep accurate, thorough client documentation
- Support scheduling and rebooking to help clients stay on track with their goals
- Keep treatment rooms and shared spaces clean, organized, and sanitized per protocol
- Bring positive energy to a collaborative, growth-oriented team
- Comply with all applicable health, safety, and licensing standards
Qualifications
- Current Virginia Massage Therapy License in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program
- 3+ years of professional massage experience preferred
- Capable of performing deep tissue, Swedish, sports, and mobility-focused modalities
- Strong service orientation and comfort working one-on-one with clients
- High level of ethics, integrity, and professionalism
- A genuine passion for helping people feel and move their best
- Pay rate determined off of skill and knowledge at hands-on interview
Availability: Flexible scheduling, with at least one weekend shift required.
