Chinese Teacher

Primary Responsibilities ： %CF; Teach Chinese language courses for students in grades K–5, following school curriculum and standards. %CF; Plan, prepare, and deliver daily lessons that emphasize reading comprehension, analytical and creative writing, grammar, and vocabulary development. %CF; Differentiate instruction to support a range of abilities, including advanced learners and multilingual students. %CF; Assign, review, and provide timely feedback on classwork, homework, projects, and essays. %CF; Maintain clear classroom expectations and routines that support a safe, orderly, and a respectful learning environment. %CF; Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and academic expectations. %CF; Collaborate with colleagues and administration on curriculum, assessment, and school events. %CF; Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide activities and performances as needed.

Qualifications:

%CF; Master’s degree in Education, Chinese Language, or a closely related field required. %CF; Valid teaching certification with an endorsement in Chinese language teaching (preferred) . %CF; Prior successful teaching experience at the lower and upper elementary, middle school, or high school level. %CF; Strong content knowledge in Chinese language arts (literature, composition, grammar). %CF; Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom and support positive student behavior. %CF; Excellent written and verbal communication skills. %CF; Comfort working in a fast-paced, academically advanced, and multicultural environment; willingness to support a multilingual immersion model. %CF; Legal authorization to work in the United States. %CF; Familiarity with project-based learning, writing across the curriculum, or Interdisciplinary teaching is a plus.
