Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team on Mondays and Fridays. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures. This role requires a strong focus on patient care, infection control, and effective communication with both patients and the dental team. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients about proper dental hygiene practices.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical records and vital signs.
• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures while adhering to aseptic techniques.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Assist in pediatric dentistry by providing care tailored to younger patients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
• Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong skills in patient assessment, documentation review, and infection control practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional patient care.
