Logistics Account Manager/Client Relations/Sales
Job Description
Our client seeks multiple Logistics Account Managers/Client Relations/Sales to join their team.
These are full-time direct hire opportunities. You will earn a base pay of $40,000, plus commissions. With commissions, you can realistically earn $50,000 to $60,000 your first year at this positive, family-friendly company. Excellent benefits.
As an Account Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Building relationships with customers via phone
- Carrier development
- Entry level sales via warm leads
- Negotiating rates
- Setting up appointments
- Tracking inbound and outbound freight
- Making and receiving a high volume of calls (85% outbound/15% inbound)
- Resolving issues
To qualify for these positions, you must have at least one (1) year of outbound phone or customer service experience and:
- High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Logistics experience a plus
- Results oriented mindset
- Positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to negotiate
- Ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships
