Ophthalmic Technician

Cornea and Cataract Associates is a busy ophthalmology office looking for an experienced Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. This is a Full-Time position (32-40 hours/week).

Position includes checking vision, documenting patient histories, performing ophthalmic testing, and getting patients prepared for their visit with the eye physicians. Excellent interpersonal skills a must in order to provide high quality care to patients in a compassionate atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Experience – Prior experience as an ophthalmic technician is required.
• Communication– Ability to write clearly and accurately using good grammar and spelling.
• Reliability – Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Team Player – Capable of collaborating with coworkers towards a common goal.
• Accountability– Must be able to take responsibility for work performance and be willing to accept constructive criticism to advance within the practice.
