Mortgage Loan Officer

As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will focus on residential mortgage loans, working closely with homebuyers, homeowners, and referral partners to identify optimal financing solutions. Supported by a responsive operations team and competitive loan products, you will leverage advanced loan origination software to deliver an exceptional client experience while operating within a large team environment and reporting directly to the Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess clients' residential mortgage financing needs
• Utilize loan origination software such as Encompass and Calyx for loan processing
• Work collaboratively within a large team of 10+ officers to meet sales goals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with homebuyers, homeowners, and referral partners
• Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Travel occasionally to branches or client locations as needed
• Communicate loan options clearly to clients to ensure informed decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in mortgage lending
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
• Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license and NMLS License
• Proficiency in loan origination and customer relationship management software
• Strong negotiation, communication, and attention to detail skills
• Effective time management abilities
