Apartment Leasing Consultant

LEASING CONSULTANT for an apartment community in Birmingham, AL!

As a Leasing Consultant, you will be the face of our community and the primary sales representative. In this role, you will greet prospective clients, present the features and benefits of our community, and secure lease agreements with qualified applicants. You will maintain a high level of professionalism, ensuring current residents feel welcome and supported, while escalating complex situations to management as needed.

Responsibilities:

· Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria (ask questions; utilize completed guest cards, etc.

· Immediately record all telephone and in-person visits on appropriate reports

· Files guest cards and maintain according to established procedures

· Resident and Vendor relations

· Distribute all company or community-issued notices

· Greets prospective residents, qualifies, determines needs and preferences, and professionally presents community and specific apartments while communicating features and benefits.

· Ensure apartment is ready for resident to move-in on agreed date

· Assist management team with other various tasks as required

· Represent the company in a professional manner at all the times

Requirements:

· Apartment leasing and fair housing experience is required

· LEASING CONSULTANTS will be required to work a flexible schedule

· Attendance is an imperative job function

· Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to smile under all circumstances

· Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

· Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills

· Above average computer skills including: Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

· Sales and customer service skills
