Bankruptcy and Commercial Litigation Associate

A well-established and growing law firm is seeking a talented and driven Bankruptcy and Commercial Litigation Associate with 2-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent writing skills, and be admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. Experience handling litigation and creditors’ rights matters in and out of the United States Bankruptcy Court is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Handle bankruptcy and commercial litigation cases through all phases of litigation
• Manage creditors’ rights matters both in and out of bankruptcy court
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on case strategy and client communication
• Participate in hearings, mediations, and court appearances
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of bankruptcy and commercial litigation laws and practices

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in bankruptcy and commercial litigation
• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree
• Admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
