Production Specialist
Job Description
Superior Fence and Rail is an industry leader with branch locations across the U.S. We are hiring a Production Specialist to join our Everett location, which services the Greater Seattle area.
In this role, you will learn and adopt Superior Fence and Rail's structured production process, as well as support the company's Field operation. Typical work week is Monday through Friday 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Primary Responsibilities:
%CF; Develop expertise in product knowledge, technical knowledge, industry and process knowledge in relevant product areas.
%CF; Move incoming or outgoing materials throughout the shop and/or yard areas.
%CF; Identify, separate, label and store material supplies as directed.
%CF; Use safe and secure practices when cutting fencing materials.
%CF; Stage and load outgoing materials each day and verify that all orders are accurate.
%CF; Meet safety, productivity and quality standards set by Superior Fence & Rail.
%CF; Pull and process orders in the appropriate allotted time.
%CF; Ensure that the yard and work areas are maintained in an organized manner.
%CF; Ensure that shop and yard area is clean and free of debris at all times.
%CF; Support Field operation as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing or other related fields
- Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to safely operate a forklift
- Experience driving a truck and trailer combination (non-CDL) is a plus
