Litigation Associate Attorney

We are seeking a Litigation Associate with four to six years of experience to join our defense-oriented law firm in our New York City or Melville, Long Island office. Candidates should be admitted to practice law in New York State and have meaningful experience handling civil litigation matters through all phases of litigation and be comfortable working on complex and sensitive cases. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a civil caseload under the supervision of senior attorneys; drafting pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda; conducting and defending depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and experts; attending court appearances, hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences; and conducting legal research and analysis concerning complex issues. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior attorneys and trial teams while developing advanced litigation skills.
