Family Law Associate Attorney

We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our family law practice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to providing exceptional client service. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a Board Certified Family Law attorney with over 30 years of experience in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements etc.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to provide exceptional client service
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third parties
• Handle matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, enforcement, modifications, and other family law issues
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients' best interests
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics

Qualifications:

• Active license to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
• 1–5+ years of family law experience preferred
• Skilled in establishing rapport and trust with clients
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet court deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
• Demonstrated excellence in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
