Ophthalmic Technician / Billingual Plus 1960 / Willowbrook Area

• Hourly compensation based on experience
• Help Maintain Patient Flow from reception area through examination process
• performs examinations to the greatest extent of your training and skill
• Completes appropriate medical record documentation
• triages clinical phone calls from patients
• complete additional duties as directed
• performs visual field test
• perform visual acuity and pinhole tests
• use of Autorefractor and Lensmeters ( automatic and manual)
• perform brightness acuity test
• Perform Schirmer's test
• act as scribe for physician
• instruct contact lens patients
• assist front desk and billing staff if needed
• ensure the exam rooms are tidied between patients
• maintain and clean equipment being used
• complete tasks as they may arise
• will need to travel to 2 different office locations when needed.

We treat many conditions of the eye such as Cataracts, Glaucoma and Macular Degeneration.
