Associate Attorney
Job Description
Law Firm that focuses on Workers' Compensation is seeking to hire an Associate Attorney.
'Duties:
- Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of legal matters
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support legal proceedings
- Draft and review legal documents, including agreements, appeals and rebuttals
- Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Collaborate with colleagues and external parties to develop legal strategies
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact clients
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in the State of New York
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Prior Workers' Compensation experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
