Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional, Teacher’s Aide, or in a similar support role in a K-12 school setting
• Ability to motivate, encourage, and relate to students of varying needs and backgrounds
• Strong communication skills—able to work closely with teachers, school staff, and students
• Flexibility and adaptability to assist with various classroom activities and settings
• Commitment to following individual education or behavioral plans as directed
• High school diploma or GED required; relevant certifications or coursework in education a plus

Daily Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in supporting instructional activities and individualized learning plans
• Provide one-on-one or small group academic, behavioral, or social-emotional assistance to students
• Help maintain a positive, safe, and engaging classroom atmosphere
• Support students with special needs, including personal care tasks if required
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, or off-site activities
• Track student progress and communicate observations with the instructional team
