Lead Technician/Mitigation Crew Chief

About the Role:

We are seeking a Lead Tech to join our team at Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Louisville. This role will be responsible for overseeing and managing restoration projects, ensuring quality and timely completion, and leading a team of technicians to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate daily activities of the carpet cleaning and restoration teams, ensuring efficient project completion.
• Supervise and lead a team of technicians, providing guidance and support
• Ensure all work is completed to company standards and client satisfaction
• Coordinate with clients and insurance companies to provide updates and resolve any issues
• Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure efficiency and profitability
• Act as the point of contact between field teams and the Operations Manager, providing updates on project progress and addressing any challenges.
• Perform hands-on fieldwork, assisting with carpet cleaning and restoration jobs as needed to ensure quality and smooth operations.
• Conduct on-site training for team members, focusing on techniques, safety procedures, and proper equipment use.
• Inspect completed projects to ensure adherence to IICRC standards, company protocols, and client expectations.
• Ensure team compliance with OSHA regulations, safety policies, and company standards, and maintain proper safety documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, addressing any questions or concerns and ensuring overall satisfaction.
• Assist management in managing schedules, tracking inventory, and maintaining equipment in good working order.
• Complete and oversee job-related documentation, including work orders, client records, and project notes

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in restoration or related field PREFERRED
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
• Certifications in restoration and water damage mitigation (IICRC, WRT, ASD) a plus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
