Superintendent

** this is a 12-14 week contract **

Location: KC Metro Area & Junction City, KS

As a Project Superintendent, you will play a key role in our success in various construction projects. You will be the leader on site keeping the project moving, hitting timelines and staying within our projected construction budget. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the project manager to create and maintain the project schedule
• Manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite.
• Own and hit key dates on your critical path to keep jobs on time and under budget.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site workers.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with building and safety codes.
• Conduct regular site inspections and provide daily reports on progress, challenges, and next steps.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any design or construction issues.
• Maintain project schedule and adjust work as needed to meet deadlines.
• Oversee material deliveries, inventory, and usage on-site.
• Lead and participate in site meetings with stakeholders and crew members.
• Ensure proper documentation, including daily logs, safety reports, and daily progress photos.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability on the job site.
• Maintain good working relationship with subcontractors and suppliers
• Present in a professional manner with clients, maintaining a “client first” mentality
