Diesel Technician

Experienced diesel engine technician needed at Rhode Island Harvesting Company, Inc., a family owned and operated tractor and outdoor power equipment dealership located in Ashaway, RI.

Job Description:

• Must have own tools
• Experience as a diesel engine technician is required
• Repair and maintain diesel engine farm and construction equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and engine malfunctions through inspections and performing diagnostic testing
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment
• Set up new equipment
• Keep accurate records of jobs performed and write up work orders
• Full-time plus overtime and year end bonus
• Must be responsible, self-motivated and reliable
• Have ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Have ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner
• Must be able to efficiently use a computer for equipment diagnostics, parts lookup programs and computer based inventory systems
