Must have strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to safety.
Must be able to test hydraulic circuits and equipment using pressure gauges, flow meters, and diagnostic tools
- Install, replace, or upgrade hydraulic components according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Troubleshoot hydraulic failures and implement effective solutions to minimize equipment downtime
- Maintain accurate service records, including maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage
- Collaborate with engineers, operators, and maintenance teams to identify recurring issues and improve system performance
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies while handling high-pressure systems
- Maintain an organized inventory of hydraulic parts, tools, and equipment required for service operations
- Provide technical guidance and support to operators and junior technicians on proper hydraulic system operation and maintenance
Must have strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to safety.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational certification in hydraulics, mechanical, or industrial technology preferred
- Minimum 1 year recent medium/heavy diesel maintenance experience
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, fluid power principles, and related mechanical components
- Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose complex hydraulic issues and implement effective repairs
