Electro Mechanical Technician
Job Description
The Electro Mechanical Technician will play a crucial role within the maintenance team, primarily working on manufacturing machinery including corrugators and die cutters. This position focuses on equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, system repair, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operational efficiency with no travel required. Advancement opportunities exist, leading to engineering roles.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on manufacturing machinery such as corrugators and die cutters
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical system issues
- Execute timely system repairs to minimize downtime
- Conduct preventive maintenance to enhance equipment reliability
- Knowledge of printing press equipent is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Expertise in mechanical repair and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques
- Familiarity with safety procedures related to maintenance work
- Strong communication skills
