Heavy Duty Mechanic / equipment and commercial vehicles
Job Description
Superior Groundcover is looking to hire a mechanic to maintain our fleet of commercial vehicles, front end loaders and pickup trucks.
We specialize in the placement of materials such as mulches, soil, aggregates and sand, using Express blower trucks, stone slingers, hydro seed trucks and various pieces of equipment to load our trucks.
The ideal candidate will have experience with all aspects of commercial vehicle repair as well as knowledge of hydraulics and construction equipment.
Knowledge in Express Blower and stone slinger repair is a plus!
We are looking for someone that can maintain our fleet as well as learn to repair the operating side of our trucks.
Daily tasks may include:
Maintenance/Service - Oil Change, Chassis lubrication, Tire repair
Diesel engine and emissions system repair
Repairing hydraulic lines
Diagnosing and repairing electrical systems
Keeping detailed record of repairs made
Maintaining a clean work area
