Senior Accountant CPA/EA
Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to assist in all activities regarding data entry and client records. You will undertake a variety of tasks such as entering client financial data, filing documentation, and assisting in office administrative duties. An excellent bookkeeper has great understanding of the concept of confidentiality. You will be experienced in entering data with attention to detail and will have good math skills to make the necessary calculations. The ideal candidate will be a thorough professional with good communication abilities. The goal is to carry out all bookkeeping procedures with speed and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Manage client financial data
- Perform daily accounting tasks, such as monthly financial reports.
- Record financial transactions
- Reconcile bank accounts & manage bank feeds
- Handle and maintain Accounts Receivable
- Work with Tax Preparer on tax compliance documents or making
- Issues statements and invoices and maintain records
- Take on some payroll and HR responsibilities
Skills
- Proven experience in Bookkeeping and Administrative Support
- Familiarity with general accounting principles
- Experience in data collection, entry and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality
- Solid knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and regulations
- Computer savvy with working knowledge of relevant software (e.g., Quickbooks,)
- Exquisite math and numerical skills
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Independent thinker with aptitude in problem-solving
- High school diploma or equivalent; BSc/BA in accounting/business administration is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
