Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic

Fuquay, Inc. is a Texas-based trenchless and site construction company specializing in UV-cured CIPP (cured-in-place pipe) rehabilitation, along with manhole coatings, CCTV inspection, dry and wet utilities, and sediment/erosion control. With operations across New Braunfels, Leander, and Sachse, we run a diverse equipment fleet to support fast-paced fieldwork, and we're looking for a mechanic who takes pride in keeping that fleet running strong.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment including backhoes, trenchers, excavators, and air compressors
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on work trucks and trailers
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in the field and in the shop
• Keep accurate maintenance logs and communicate equipment status to project and operations teams
• Support crews across active jobsites, occasionally requiring travel within our Texas service areas

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of mechanical experience with heavy equipment (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to diagnose issues independently and work with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working in an outdoor, active jobsite environment
• Strong communication skills in English
