Staff Accountant CPA Firm

Job Purpose:
Provides companies and individuals with tax planning and consulting services in addition to preparing tax returns and financial statements.

Duties:
* Prepares corporate, partnership, trust and individual income tax returns

* Assists clients with tax planning and projections

* Prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger systems

* Assists with client payroll and other related payroll tax issues

* Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports and verifying information

* Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and reconciling accounts

* Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data

Skills/Qualifications:

* CPA License and Public Accounting Experience Preferred

* Proficient using QuickBooks and other General Ledger Systems

* Preparation of Individual and Business Tax Returns

* Reporting Skills, Time Management, Detail Oriented
