Senior Accountant CPA
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant/CPA with superior attention to detail and strong organizational, analytical and planning skills. This is a full-time, on-site Tax Accountant role based in Holdrege, Nebraska.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in public accounting
- CPA or Enrolled Agent preferred
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, including GAAP
- Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
- Team mentality and positive attitude
- Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Duties and responsibilities:
- Review and preparation of business and individual income tax returns
- Tax planning and projections
- Tax research, resolution and correspondence
- Financial statement preparation
- Manage client requests and deliverables
- Assist staff with technical questions
- Ensure quality standards are maintained
