We are seeking a reliable, experienced Auto Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair suspension related work. The ideal candidate possesses strong problem-solving skills, proficiency with modern diagnostic tools and commitment to quality workmanship and shop safety


  • Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Perform mechanical and computerized system diagnostics to identify vehicle issues, fault codes, and performance glitches using specialized diagnostic software and scanners.
  • Maintenance & Service: Execute routine maintenance tasks including filter changes, battery testing, and tune-ups according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Repairs & Replacements: Repair or replace defective components including brake systems, steering/suspension, and HVAC systems.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Conduct multi-point safety inspections on incoming vehicles to identify potential hazards, wear-and-tear items, and preventative service needs.
  • Customer Communication & Reporting: Provide accurate estimates of repair time and material costs to service advisors. Explain technical issues clearly and document all performed work accurately on repair orders.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station. Adhere strictly to OSHA standards, shop safety rules, and environmental regulations regarding fluid disposal.
  • Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent; completion of a vocational/technical training program in automotive technology preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of professional hands-on automotive repair experience in a dealership or independent shop setting.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required to test-drive vehicles).
  • Tools: Possession of a standard personal mechanic tool set (shop provides heavy equipment and specialized diagnostic machinery).

Preferred Certifications & Skills

  • ASE Certifications: Current ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications (e.g., A1-A8) are highly preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with modern engine management systems, hybrid/EV systems, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
  • Soft Skills: Strong time-management skills, attention to detail, and team-oriented mindset.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50–70 lbs independently.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, balance, reach, and work overhead or in cramped spaces for extended periods.
  • Exposure to loud noise, automotive chemicals, fumes, and varying shop temperature
