Oversees all on‐site operations for construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project plans, schedules, and quality standards. This role serves as the primary on‐site leader, coordinating subcontractors, managing daily activities, and maintaining clear communication with project managers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise all on‐site construction activities
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and field personnel
  • Develop and maintain daily and weekly work schedules
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies
  • Conduct routine site inspections to monitor progress and quality
  • Identify and resolve issues, delays, or conflicts on the job site
  • Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents
  • Track material deliveries, equipment usage, and inventory
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and site documentation
  • Lead on‐site safety meetings and enforce safety protocols
  • Support permitting, inspections, and regulatory compliance
  • Communicate project updates to the project manager and leadership team

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a construction superintendent or similar supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety practices
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‐solving abilities
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools and basic computer applications
  • Strong organizational and time‐management skills
  • Ability to work in fast‐paced environments

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of construction experience, with supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • OSHA 30 or equivalent safety certification is a plus
