COOK - LUXURY SENIOR CARE FACILITY

Location: Glen Haven Huntersville - 6900 Gilead Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078

Pay: $17.50 - $22.50 per hour

Schedule: Day shift; every other weekend required

Work in a real team setting

Your main job is to own the kitchen and also step in to help residents when needed. The facility owner is a chef and will have very high expectations for food quality and presentation.

Glen Haven is not a place where one person is left alone to run a 6-bed home. We have two dedicated caregivers on every shift, 24/7. The Cook works alongside those two.

What you will do

• Plan simple, healthy menus.
• Make shopping lists and order groceries.
• Cook and serve lunch and dinner
• Prep breakfast for the morning team to serve.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and safe.
• Help residents with meals and step in with care support when needed.
• Communicate clearly with other caregivers.

What we need

• Current North Carolina CNA or PCA - required.
• At least 3 years of paid cooking experience - not fast food
• ServSafe certification
• Ability to plan ahead, stay organized, and keep a clean kitchen.
• Good attendance, good attitude, and strong follow-through.

Glen Haven Huntersville is a brand-new, privately owned residential care home located at 6900 Gilead Rd, Huntersville, NC. We provide assisted living and memory care for up to six residents in a home setting designed from the ground up for senior care. Our staffing ratios, physical environment, and care standards are built around one idea: every resident deserves consistent, attentive, personalized care delivered by people who know them well. We are operated by Yorkwood Assisted Living, LLC and are currently hiring caregivers for all shifts.
