Staff Accountant - CPA a Plus

Job Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients and be one of the faces of the firm
• Preparation and review of federal & state income/franchise tax returns for corporations, partnerships, trusts, non-profits and individuals
• Tax planning, projections and research for clients
• Represent clients with IRS, State or other audits
• Bookkeeping, payroll taxes, financial statements
• Maintain client confidentiality and protects the firm's financial security by following internal controls
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through ongoing communication and exceptional service

Qualifications:

• 4 years Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Accounting or similar field is a must
• Current CPA Certification or In Process of Studying
• 2+ years' experience
• Strong technological skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Takes initiative and able to multi-task
• Team oriented with the ability to work independently
• Strong work ethic
• Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service to clients
