Trinity Health in Minot, North Dakota is expanding its Adult Echocardiography/Cardiology services and is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer to join its growing team.

The Echo Technologist will perform adult echocardiograms for both inpatient and outpatient cardiac imaging and will work closely with physicians, cardiology providers, clinical teams, and students as Trinity Health continues to grow its cardiac service line.
Pay & Incentives
- Hourly Range: $38.27 – $59.32 per hour, based on years of experience
- Estimated Annual Range: Approximately $79,600 – $123,400 based on full-time hours
- Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 total
- $4,000 paid on the first paycheck
- $1,000 paid in the second year
- $5,000 paid in the third year
- Tuition Reimbursement: Up to $16,000 total
- $3,200 per year for up to 5 years
- Relocation Assistance: Available for qualified candidates

Program & Technology Highlights
Trinity Health uses GE Vivid 95 cardiac ultrasound carts and is continuing to expand its cardiac capabilities.
The team is preparing to launch a TAVR program within the next few months, with plans to potentially add Watchman procedures later this fall.
This role will support both inpatient and outpatient cardiac imaging and will be part of a program that is growing clinically and technologically.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality adult echocardiograms
- Scan both inpatient and outpatient studies
- Work with physicians and clinical teams to support diagnostic cardiac care
- Use Doppler, 2D, and related echo imaging techniques
- Support cardiac program growth, including structural heart initiatives
- Share knowledge and help support students as Trinity develops its adult echo training program
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow department protocols
- Provide professional, patient-centered care in a hospital-based cardiology environment
Qualifications
- Experience as an Echo Technologist, Cardiac Sonographer, or Echocardiography Technologist
- Experience performing adult echocardiograms
- Comfortable working in a hospital-based cardiology environment
- Ability to scan inpatient and outpatient studies
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Interest in supporting a growing adult echo and structural heart program
Preferred Experience
- Experience with GE Vivid cardiac ultrasound equipment
- Experience with Doppler, 2D echo, and related cardiac imaging techniques
- Prior hospital-based echo experience
- Interest in advanced cardiac procedures, including TAVR and Watchman program growth
