Marine Mechanic- Diesel and/or Gasoline Inboard Engines

Company Overview/Offering:

We are a family owned and run company in the marine repair business for 26 years and have been a Volvo Penta Dealership for 24 years.

We are looking for experienced mechanics that have knowledge of either diesel or gasoline marine inboard engines

Base pay starts at $22.00 per hour; techs with 3 or more years experience qualify for higher rate of pay.

Requirements:

• Experience working on boats and/or rebuilding marine engines
• Available full time
• Clean driving record
• Must have own tools; specialized tools will be provided
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out engine service repairs
• Replacing broken or worn-out engine parts
• Completely rebuilding engines
• Maintaining tidy workspace
• Carrying out sea trials
• Troubleshooting engine and electrical problems
