Landscape Installation Crew Member
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Installation Crew Member to join our skilled team focused on residential landscaping projects throughout the Tampa Bay Area. This role is ideal for someone with experience or a strong desire to learn and grow in landscape installation, working under minimal supervision while contributing to site preparation, plant installation, and gardening. You will be part of a self-managed crew within a larger landscaping team, performing manual labor and equipment operation with an emphasis on safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Remove and prepare existing landscapes for new installations
- Install trees, plants, flowers, mulch, rock, and other groundcovers using industry standards
- Operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow supervisor, crew leader, and designer instructions for site work and scheduling
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Collaborate with team members on landscape design input and problem-solving
- Adhere to safety guidelines and sustainability practices
- Perform physical labor outdoors in Florida weather conditions
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of landscape installation experience
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with planting techniques, mulching, and landscaping tools
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and outdoor work
- Knowledge of safety compliance in landscaping
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliability and punctuality
