This position plays a vital role in supporting the financial operations of a multi-market nonprofit organization dedicated to creating and supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships that help young people reach their full potential.

What You'll Do
As our Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting key accounting functions, including:
- Processing accounts payable transactions
- Managing employee P-Card expense reporting and reconciliation
- Recording bank activity, deposits, reimbursements, and cash transactions
- Preparing vendor payments and weekly check runs
- Maintaining accurate general ledger entries
- Performing monthly bank reconciliations and researching discrepancies
- Assisting with month-end close activities
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and accounting procedures
- Maintaining organized financial records and documentation
- Supporting audits, reporting cycles, and special projects as needed
