Diesel Mechanic

Heavy equipment and truck mechanic needed. Diesel Mechanic needed for heavy equipment repair shop in Washington County. Must possess diagnostic skills and an aptitude to identify and solve problems while working independently. Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus. Must be able to work quickly disassembling and reassembling all types of heavy equipment and medium to heavy duty trucks. Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks. Ability to work efficiently and independently Ability to interface with customers and deliver good customer service. Exhibits good judgment and decision-making skills. Exhibits attention to detail on all responsibilities and duties. Perform all work on job orders. Concisely report time and materials used to complete work order on job sheets for management Keeps shop area neat and clean. Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner. Immediately reports issues management. Requires standing for long periods of time Requires bending/stooping/kneeling for long periods Requires frequent repetitive hand motion Requires frequent lifting of 5 to 50 lbs Requires occasional lifting of 50 to 100 lbs Requires performing accurate, knowledgeable, detailed work. CDL helpful, but not required.
