Precast Yard Mechanic

The Yard Mechanic plays a crucial role in supporting daily operations by Maintaining vehicles and equipment, handling equipment, and performing vehicle inspections. Working within a small team and reporting directly to the Site Manager, this role requires physical stamina, timely execution of tasks, and the ability to problem solve issues that arise with vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and equipment
• Maintain vehicles and Equipment
• Repair vehicles and equipment
• Wash down and clean Vehicles and equipment
• Help other team members with production and loading of products
• Manage time effectively to complete tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in mechanics and labor work
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with heavy equipment
• Experience with diesel motors
• Experience with forklifts, backhoes, Skid steers and excavators
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance
• Strong physical stamina
• Effective time management skills
