Job Description

Cyrwus Contracting is seeking a skilled and dependable Lead Carpenter / Remodeling Technician to join our growing team. We specialize in high-quality residential remodeling projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, additions, decks, and custom renovations throughout Dutchess, Putnam, and Westchester counties.

The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and can work independently or as part of a team while maintaining a professional attitude on every job site.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of residential remodeling and construction
• Frame walls, floors, roofs, and additions
• Install doors, windows, trim, cabinets, and finish carpentry
• Install drywall, flooring, tile, and other finish materials
• Read blueprints and follow project specifications
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Identify and solve construction issues in the field
• Ensure work meets company quality standards and local building codes

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential construction or remodeling experience preferred
• Experience with framing, finish carpentry, drywall, tile, and general remodeling
• Ability to read construction drawings and measurements accurately
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Positive attitude, punctuality, and reliability
