Warehouse Supervisor

The ideal candidate for this Warehouse Supervisor role should have strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping/receiving logistics operations. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising warehouse personnel, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely shipping and receiving activities, and promoting a safe and efficient workplace. The ideal candidate has experience in food manufacturing and possesses strong leadership skills with a focus on continuous operational improvement.

Primary Responsibilities

· Implement purchasing strategies

· Oversee daily purchasing activities

· Review and analyze price variances

· Monitor new product forecast

· Determine cost effective materials

· Negotiate supplier management pricing

· Monitor vendor performance

· Provide cost management

· Improve purchasing systems and processes

· Train and mentor new employees

The ideal Warehouse Supervisor will have a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Other requirements for the Warehouse Supervisor role include and are not limited to:

· 5+ years in inventory management, procurement, or similar role

· Microsoft Office skills, Advanced Excel

· Proficient in inventory management software/tools

· Strong critical thinking skills
